[189.018]. sthāpayitvā kārṣāpaṇān gaccha, śvo buddhapramukhaṃ bhikṣusaṃghamupanimantraya/

[189.019]. sa saṃjātasaumanasyaḥ śiraḥpraṇāmaṃ kṛtvā prakrānto yena bhagavāṃstenopasaṃkrāntaḥ/

[189.021]. atha sa gṛhapatiputro bhagavatastūṣṇībhāvenādhivāsanāṃ viditvā bhagavato'ntikāt prakrāntaḥ//
[189.023]. tenāpi gṛhapatinā tāmeva rātriṃ śuciṃ praṇītaṃ khādanīyaṃ bhojanīyaṃ samudānīya kālyamevotthāya gṛhaṃ saṃmārjitam/
[189.024]. sukumārī gomayakārṣī dattā, āsanaprajñaptiḥ kāritā, udakamaṇayaḥ pratiṣṭhāpitāḥ/
[189.025]. tenāpi gṛhapatiputreṇa gatvā bhagavata ārocitam--samayo bhadanta, sajjaṃ bhaktam yasyedānīṃ bhagavān kālaṃ manyate iti/
[189.026]. atha bhagavān pūrvāhṇe nivāsya pātracīvaramādāya bhikṣugaṇaparivṛto bhikṣusaṃghapuraskṛto yena tasya gṛhapater niveśanaṃ tenopasaṃkrāntaḥ/
[189.027]. ṣaḍvargīyāḥ pṛcchanti--kenāayaṃ buddhapramukho bhikṣusaṃgha upanimantrita iti? apare kathayanti--amukena gṛhapatiputreṇeti/
[189.029]. te parasparaṃ saṃjalpaṃ kurvanti--nandopananda, bhṛtakapuruṣaḥ saḥ/
[189.029]. kimasau dāsyati? gacchāma kulopakagṛheṣu gatvā purobhaktakāṃ karma iti/

[190.002]. satatapariveṣaṇaṃ kurvāṇaḥ paśyti ṣaḍvargīyān na satkṛtya parimuñjānān/
[190.003]. dṛṣṭvā ca punarbhagavantaṃ viditvā dhautahastamapanītapātraṃ bhagavataḥ purastāt sthitvā kathayati--bhagavan, kaiścidatrāryakair na satkṛtya paribhuktamāhāram/
[190.005]. deveṣu nopapatsye iti? bhagavānāha--vatsa, śayanāsanaparibhogena tāvat tvaṃ deveṣūpapadyethāḥ prāgevānnapānaparibhogeneti/
[190.006]. atha bhagavāṃstaṃ gṛhapatiputraṃ ca dharmyayā kathayā saṃdarśya samādāpya samuttejya saṃpraharṣyotthāyāsanāt prakrāntaḥ//
[190.008]. atrāntare pañcamātrāṇi vaṇikśatāni mahāsamudrāt saṃsiddhayānapātrāṇni rājagṛhamanuprāptāni/
[190.009]. rājagṛhe ca parva pratyupasthitamiti na kiṃcit krayeṇāpi labhyate/

[190.010]. sa kathayati--bhavantaḥ, āgamayata kasyādya gṛhe buddhapramukhena bhikṣusaṃghena bhaktam, tatrāvaśyaṃ kiṃcidutsadanadharmakaṃ bhavatīti/
[190.011]. te śravaṇaparamparayā cānveṣamāṇāstasya gṛhapateḥ sakāśamupasaṃkrāntāḥ/
[190.012]. kathayanti--gṛhapate, tavādya buddhapramukhena bhikṣusaṃghena bhukte iha parva pratyupasthitamiti na kiṃcit krayeṇāpi labhyate/
[190.013]. yadi kiṃcidutsadanadharmakamasti, mūlyena dīyatāmiti/
[190.014]. na mamaitadbhaktam, api tu tasyaitadgṛhapatiputrasya bhaktam/

[190.023]. te pūrvamevābhiprasannāḥ sārthavāhena ca protsāhitā iti tairyathāsambhāvyena maṇimuktādīni ratnāni dattāni/

[190.026]. yadi ca mūlyaṃ gaṇyate, ekena ratnenedṛśānāṃ bhaktānāmanekāni śatāni saṃvidyante/
[190.027]. kiṃ tu vayaṃ tavābhiprasannāḥ prasannādhikāraṃ kurmaḥ, gṛhāṇeti/
[190.027]. sa kathayati--tāt, mayā buddhapramukho bhikṣusaṃgho bhojito deveṣūpapatsye iti/

[190.029]. yadi grahīṣyāmi, sthānametadvidyate yaddeveṣu nopapatsye? sārthavāhah--putra, abhiśraddadhāsi tvaṃ bhagavatah? tāt, abhiśraddadhe/

[191.007]. apare kathayanti--kathamasmābhirjñātavyamiti? te kathayanti--nānāvarṇāni bījāni pakkakumbhe prakṣipāmaḥ, ya ekavarṇānyuddhariṣyati, taṃ śreṣṭhinamabhiṣiñcāma iti/

[191.021]. yannvahaṃ punarapi buddhapramukhaṃ bhikṣusaṃghamantargṛhe upanimantrya bhojayeyam/

[192.005]. tasya bhagavatā āśayānuśayaṃ dhātuṃ prakṛtiṃ ca jñātvā tādṛśī caturāyasatyasamprativedhikī dharmadeśanā kṛtā, yāṃ śrutvā sahasodgatena gṛhapatinā viṃśatiśikharasamudgataṃ satkāyadṛṣṭiśailaṃ jñānavajreṇa bhittvā srotāpattiphalaṃ sākṣātkṛtam/
[192.007]. sa dṛṣṭasatyastrirudānamudānayati--idamasmākaṃ bhadanta na mātrā kṛtaṃ na pitrā neṣṭena na svajanabandhuvargeṇa na rājñā na devatābhir na pūrvapretair na śramaṇabrāhmaṇairyadbhagavatā asmākaṃ kṛtam/

[192.015]. bhikṣavaḥ saṃśayajātāaḥ sarvasaṃśayacchettāraṃ buddhaṃ bhagavantaṃ papracchuh--kiṃ bhadanta sahasodgatena gṛhapatinā karma kṛtam yena bhṛtikayā karma kṛtam, yena sahasā bhogairabhivṛddhaḥ, satyadarśanaṃ ca kṛtamiti? bhagavānāha--sahasodgatenaiva bhikṣavo gṛhapatinā karmāṇi kṛtānyupacitāni labdhasambhārāṇi pariṇatapratyayāni oghavatpratyupasthitānyavaśyabhāvīni/

[192.031]. yāvadapareṇa samayena sa gṛhapatiḥ saṃprāpte vasantakālasamaye saṃpuṣpiteṣu pādapeṣu haṃsakrauñcamayūraśukaśārikākokilajīvaṃjīvakonnāditam[193] vanakhaṇḍamantarjanasahāya udyānabhūmiṃ nirgataḥ/

[193.030]. sa gṛhapatiputrastīvreṇāśayena pādayor nipatya praṇidhānaṃ kartumārabdhah--yanmayā evaṃvidhe sadbhūtadakṣiṇīye kharā vāgniścāritā, tasya karmaṇo bhāgī syām/
[193.032]. yattu idānīṃ cittamabhiprasāditam, anenāhaṃ kuśalamūlenāḍhye mahādhane [194] mahābhoge kule jāyeyam, evaṃvidhānāṃ ca dharmāṇāṃ lābhī syām, prativiśiṣṭataraṃ cātaḥ śāstāramārāgayeyaṃ virāgayeyamiti//

[194.003]. kiṃ manyadhve bhikṣavah? yo'sau gṛhapatiputraḥ, eṣa evāsau sahasodgato gṛhapatiḥ/
[194.004]. yadanena pratyekabuddhasyāntike kharā vāgniścāritā, tena pañca janmaśatāni bhṛtakapuruṣo jātaḥ/
[194.005]. yāvadetarhyapi bhṛtikayā karma kṛtam/
[194.005]. yat punastasyaivāntike cittamabhiprasādya praṇidhānaṃ kṛtam, tena sahasaiva bhogairabhivṛddhaḥ/

[194.006]. ahaṃ cānena pratyekabuddhakoṭiśatasahasrebhyaḥ prativiśiṣṭataraḥ śāstā ārāgito na virāgitaḥ/
[194.007]. iti hi bhikṣava ekāntakṛṣṇānāṃ karmaṇāmekāntakṛṣṇo vipākaḥ, ekāntaśuklānāmekāntaśuklaḥ, vyatimiśrāṇāṃ vyatimiśraḥ/
[194.009]. tasmāttarhi ekāntakṛṣṇāni karmāṇyapāsya vyatimiśrāṇi ca, ekāntaśukleṣveva karmasvābhogaḥ karaṇīyaḥ/
[194.010]. ityevaṃ vo bhikavaḥ śikṣitavyam//
