Summary: English study of the Cidgaganacandrika: an important Tantric work belonging to the Krama system of Kashmir Shaivism authored by Shrivatsa (Kalidasa). The Cidgagana-Candrika represents a commentary on the Kramastuti by Siddhanatha and is presented in the form of an eulogy of Parashakti. In four chapters (vimarshas) this book deals with the knowledge regarding both the Macrocosmic and Microcosmic phenomena; while it contains a total of 312 Sanskrit verses verses.

This study includes an introduction and background of the Cidgaganacandrika and also includes English translations/gleanings from the two available commentaries: The Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika.
