Cidgaganacandrika 149 [Shakti ॐ Kararupa, Pancayonirupa], English comparative study extracted from the two available commentaries—the Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika. ग्रन्थिपञ्चकविभेदिनी चितिः पञ्चतारलिपिवृत्तिसूचिता ।
येयमम्ब परधाम्नि ते तनुर्योनिपञ्चकमयी निराकृतिः ॥ १४९ ॥granthipañcakavibhedinī citiḥ pañcatāralipivṛttisūcitā |
yeyamamba paradhāmni te tanuryonipañcakamayī nirākṛtiḥ || 149 ||

[Śakti ॐ Kārarūpa, Pañcayonirūpa]
Citiśakti in her abode Śivatattva is formless, unattached. She is the destroyer of the five granthīs of knowledge (śabda, sparśa, rūpa, rasa and gandha) in the Sādhaka. She is the form of the Lipi “ॐ”, the Praṇava mantra. This consists of three horizontal lines, one vertical line, fifth is bindu. This Praṇava is Citiśakti’s form. The Pañcamahābhūtas are the Pañcayonis[1] because they are the material cause for the Jagat Śṛṣṭi.
