Cidgaganacandrika 303 [Tivra Shaktipata], English comparative study extracted from the two available commentaries—the Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika. The Cidgagana-candrika is an important Tantric work belonging to the Krama system of Kashmir Shaivism. Written by Kalidasa (Shrivatsa) in 312 Sanskrit verses, it deals with the knowledge regarding both the Macrocosmic and Microcosmic phenomena

तत्र शान्तवति पौरुषे मले व्योमवद्गतमवेदया त्वया ।
सिद्धकार्यकरणं निरङ्कुशं चिन्मरीचिविसरेण मङ्गले ॥ ३०३ ॥tatra śāntavati pauruṣe male vyomavadgatamavedayā tvayā |
siddhakāryakaraṇaṃ niraṅkuśaṃ cinmarīcivisareṇa maṅgale || 303 ||
Comparative analysis of commentaries and excerpts in English:
Śaktipāta is the Anugraha aspect of Śakti. It is of nine forms. Three aspects Tīvra (strong), Madhya (medium) and Manda (weak) of Śaktipāta gets multiplied interse, as Tīvra-Tīvra, Tīvra-Madhya, Tīvra-Manda etc., to nine forms of Śaktipāta. It differs with each sādhaka, according to his capacity. In the first category Śakti’s grace is endowed upon the sādhaka through Gurukrūpā, by cleansing the Āṇava mala and due to this the other two impurities (Mayīya and Kārmaṇa malas) vanish on their own. Hence he gets released from the five limitations of Kalā,vidyā, Rāga, Kāla and Niyati. He acquires the five powers of Omnipotence etc., and transcends the state of limitation. Thus he reaches Śakti, who resides as the sky, in the heart of the sādhaka. He gets freedom from the rays of Cit (Khecaryādi), which turn to help him in free functioning[1] and experiences his Self as Śiva / Śakti with unlimited power. Thus he becomes a Siddhā.
