Cidgaganacandrika 142-143 [Vyomavamesvaryadi Pancavaha Shaktis], English comparative study extracted from the two available commentaries—the Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika. The Cidgagana-candrika is an important Tantric work belonging to the Krama system of Kashmir Shaivism. Written by Kalidasa (Shrivatsa) in 312 Sanskrit verses, it deals with the knowledge regarding both the Macrocosmic and Microcosmic phenomena

शम्भुधाम्नि पतिताम्बरेश्वरी शक्तिधामनि ततोऽनु खेचरी ।
भूचरी त्वमनु योगधाम्न्यतो दिक्चरी तदनु मन्त्रधामनि ॥ १४२ ॥
पञ्चमं झटिति पातुकक्रमादीयुषी स्फुरसि रौद्रवैभवात् ।
ज्ञानधाम्नि निखिलेशि गोचरी न क्रमस्तव निराश्रये पदे ॥ १४३ ॥

śambhudhāmni patitāmbareśvarī śaktidhāmani tato'nu khecarī |
bhūcarī tvamanu yogadhāmnyato dikcarī tadanu mantradhāmani || 142 ||
pañcamaṃ jhaṭiti pātukakramādīyuṣī sphurasi raudravaibhavāt |
jñānadhāmni nikhileśi gocarī na kramastava nirāśraye pade || 143 ||

[Vyomavāmesvaryādi Pañcavāha Śaktis]

Śakti, who attains oneness with Śambhudhāma, which is Cidgagana, is called Ambareśvari or Vyomavāmeśvarī. When she transforms into buddhi and resides in Śaktidhama, then she is Khecarī. Then in Savikalpakasamādhi in Yogadhāma she represents the Sūkṣma indriyas and called Bhūcarī. When in Mantradhāma she adorns the Varṇamālarūpa she is named Dikcarī.

The fifth Śakti is Gocarī, who presides over the knowledge acquired through the Sthūla indriyas due to the play of Rudra, a form of Prakāśa. In this manner, there is a process involved in Sṛṣṭikrama. In the Ultimate abode, where there is complete union of Śiva and Śakti, none of the activities of Indriyas exists and hence no process of creation.[1][2]
