Cidgaganacandrika 32 [Revelation of Ishvara], English comparative study extracted from the two available commentaries—the Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika. The Cidgagana-candrika is an important Tantric work belonging to the Krama system of Kashmir Shaivism. Written by Kalidasa (Shrivatsa) in 312 Sanskrit verses, it deals with the knowledge regarding both the Macrocosmic and Microcosmic phenomena

दृक्क्रियात्मशशिभानुमध्यगं खे चरत्यनलवत् सुधाम यत् ।
यत्तदूर्ध्वशिखरे परं नभस्तत्र दर्शय शिवं त्वमम्बिके ॥ ३२ ॥

dṛkkriyātmaśaśibhānumadhyagaṃ khe caratyanalavat sudhāma yat |
yattadūrdhvaśikhare paraṃ nabhastatra darśaya śivaṃ tvamambike || 32 ||

[Revelation of Īśvara]

Siddhā prays to Ambikā to reveal to him that Īśvara in the Parākāśa, inner sky of her self shining as fire above the path of the Prāṇās as if soaking in nectar in between the Moon and the Sun as the eyes of knowledge and action.[1]

Maṇḍalatraya and Tridhāma: transcendence by the grace of Ambikā

Just like the fire, in the sky of the empirical universe, which operates in between the Solar and Lunar systems, in the metaphysical body also the aspect of fire takes the path, in between the Somamaṇḍala formed by the Iḍā nāḍi, representing the Jñānaśakti, and Sūryamaṇḍala formed by the Piṅgalānāḍi, representing the Kriyāśakti, called Śuṣumnā nāḍi which is the mid-path (sudhāma) the peak of which is the Cidākāsa. Brahmabila [brahmabilam] which is the top portion of this midpath situated in the Dvādaśānta [dvādaśāntam] that is the abode of Śiva, Param nabha[2]. The grace of Śakti will operate in the aspirant to see that Śiva in that Mahākāsa.
