Cidgaganacandrika 229 [Unmani Shakti—Paratattvarupa], English comparative study extracted from the two available commentaries—the Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika. स्वैरखेलननिवेशिताः शिवे आत्मनाऽक्षरुचयस्त्रयोदश ।
अर्थपञ्चकमयाश्च वेदकास्त्वं विनीतघनसारमूर्च्छिता ॥ २२९ ॥

svairakhelananiveśitāḥ śive ātmanā'kṣarucayastrayodaśa |
arthapañcakamayāśca vedakāstvaṃ vinītaghanasāramūrcchitā || 229 ||

[Unmanī Śakti—Paratattvarūpā]

The peacock’s egg contains all the multiple colours of the peacock feathers. Thus, in Śakti’s heart, lie the entire Varṇas (“a” to “ha”), which take the “Ahamta” form in manifestation of names and forms. Bindu and Visarga are Puruṣa and Prakṛti forms. “haṃ”is Puruṣa and “saḥ” is Prakṛti. “haṃsaḥ” is Jagat. When Śakti knows her Puruṣa aspect, she reckons herself as “so'ham”. In this form, by the elision of the consonants “sa” and “ha” it becomes “ॐ” by the application of Pūrvarūpā sandhi. This elision of padas happens at the Unmanī level, which is Śakti’s form. Paratattvarūpā Śakti, thus, exhibits her power of immanence and transcendance.
