Comparative analysis of commentaries and excerpts in English:

[Trinkets of Kāli’s anklets]

Ambikā is called Parā Śakti, the unruffled state of sound, Nāda in Cidguhā, where from are born the five sense perceptions, sound, touch, form, taste and smell. They are none other than the melodious sounds or trinkets of her anklets. They are as the waves in the ocean, as many subtle forms or sounds of her self. [1]

Transformation of Kālī

Kālī, as Parāvāc, transforms into varṇamatṛkas [varṇamātṛkās?][2], thus becomes the upādāna kāraṇa for the manifestation of the pañcamahābhūtas and the pañcatanmātras and so on. Parāśakti, being the unruffled Nāda (cidguhā), is like the ocean, from which the varṇamatṛkas [varṇamātṛkās?] flow like waves, in the form of five mahābhūtas and the tanmātras. She is the upādāna kāraṇa for this manifestation. All these are the multiple subtle forms of Kālī.
