Comparative analysis of commentaries and excerpts in English:

[Śakti causes Bhairavatva in Śiva in monist Śaiva doctrine]

Sādhaka’s pursuit to transcend the activities of mind and reach the Unmanā level in yoga, leads them to the Bhairava[1] state. This Bhairava is Śakti’s effect for the purpose of emitting, protecting and dissolving the universe in the Śṛṣṭi, Sthiti and Saṃhāra stages. Khecarī mudrā leads one to reach this Unmanā level. Śiva is realised in one’s self at this stage.

In one’s self, there are four inner revelations:

  1. Rudra,
  2. Śiva,
  3. Bhairava and
  4. Parāmaśiva.

With the assistance of the twelve Śakti s stated earlier, when one gets the revelation of the wholeness of all these divine waves, then he gets liberated on reaching this great Bhairava state.
