Summary: The English translation of the Agni Purana, one of the eighteen major puranas containing roughly 15,000 verses written in Sanskrit shloka format. Traditionally, the Agnipurana was recited by Agni to Vasishta in order to teach about the Brahman. Following this, Vasishta narrated the text text to Vyasa.
