। अथ श्रीस्कांदे महापुराणे पञ्चमआवन्त्यखंडे ऽवंतीस्थचतुरशीतिलिङ्गमाहात्म्यं द्वितीयं प्रारभ्यते॥ ।
श्रीगणेशाय नमः ।
श्रीमहाकालाय नमः ।
अथावन्त्यखण्डेऽवन्तीस्थचतुरशीतिलिङ्गमाहात्म्यं प्रारभ्यते ।
उमोवाच ।
पृथिव्यां यानि तीर्थानि पुण्याश्च सरितस्तथा ।
कथ्यतां तानि यत्नेन श्राद्धं येषु प्रदीयते ॥ १ ॥
