Āvantyakhaṇḍa (आवन्त्यखण्ड):—The Āvantya-khaṇḍa of the Skandapurāṇa consists of two sections

  1. Avantikṣetramāhātmya (71 chapters)
  2. Caturaśītiliṅgamāhātmya (84 chapters) and
  3. Revākhaṇḍa (232 chapters)
