यस्मिन् स्नात्वा नरः पापी
व्रती भूत्वा समाहितः
अश्टाभ्यां हेम-दानं च
दत्त्वा नत्वा विधानतः
कोटि-जन्म-कृतैः पापैर्
मुच्यते नात्र संशयः
प्राणान्ते तं नरं नेतुं
गोलोकाच् च महा-रथः
सहस्रादित्य-सण्काश
आगच्छति न संशयः
दश-कन्दर्प-लावण्यो
रत्न-कुण्डल-मण्डितः
स्रग्वी पीताम्बरः श्यामः
सहस्रार्क-स्फुरद्-द्युतिः
सहस्र-पार्शदैर् युक्तस्
चामरान्दोल-राजितः
जय-ध्वनि-समायुक्तो
वेणु-दुन्दुभि-नादितः
भूत्वैवं रथम् आस्थाय
गोलोकं यात्य् असंशयम्

daśa-kandarpa-lāvaṇyo
ratna-kuṇḍala-maṇḍitaḥ
sragvī pītāmbaraḥ śyāmaḥ
sahasrārka-sphurad-dyutiḥ
sahasra-pārśadair yuktas
cāmarāndola-rājitaḥ
jaya-dhvani-samāyukto
veṇu-dundubhi-nāditaḥ
bhūtvaivaṃ ratham āsthāya

English translation of verses 6.19.6-10:

A sinner who, properly following pious vows, bathes in that lake, gives eight gifts of gold to qualified braśhmaṇas, and then bows down before the brāhmaṇas, becomes free of the sins performed in many millions of births. Of this there is no doubt. At the time of his death a great chariot effulgent as thousands of suns comes from Goloka for his sake. Of that there is no doubt. Then he becomes a liberated soul handsome like ten Kāmadevas, dark-complexioned, splendid like thousands of suns, dressed in yellow garments, flower garlands, and jewel earrings, fanned with cāmaras, honored with calls of "Victory" and the music of flutes and drums, and surrounded by thousands of friends, and then he mounts the chariot and goes to Goloka. Of this there is no doubt.
