nanu kriyamāṇaṃ karma phalamajanayitvaiva kuto naśyati brahmabodhe tatkāraṇocchedādityāha brahmārpaṇamiti | anekakārakasādhyā hi yajñādikriyā bhavati | devatoddeśena hi dravyatyāgo yāgaḥ | sa eva tyajyamānadravyasyāgnau prakṣepāddhoma ityucyate | tatroddeśyā devatā sampradānaṃ, tyajyamānaṃ dravyaṃ haviḥśabdavācyaṃ sākṣāddhātvarthakarma, tatphalaṃ tu svargādi vyavahitaṃ bhāvanākarma | evaṃ dhārakatvena haviṣo'gnau prakṣepe sādhakatamatayā juhvādi karaṇaṃ prakāśakatayā mantrādīti karaṇamapi kārakajñāpakabhedena dvividham | evaṃ tyāgo'gnau prakṣepaśca dve kriye | tatrādyāyāṃ

tathā hi arpyate'neneti karaṇavyutpattyārpaṇaṃ juhvādi mantrādi ca | evamarpyate'smā iti vyutpattyārpaṇaṃ devatārūpaṃ sampradānam | evamarpyate'sminniti vyutpattyārpaṇamadhikaraṇaṃ deśakālādi | tatsarvaṃ brahmaṇi kalpitatvādbrahmaiva rajjukalpitabhujaṅgavadadhiṣṭhānavyatirekeṇāsadityarthaḥ | evaṃ havistyāgaprakṣepakriyayoḥ sākṣātkarma kārakaṃ tadapi brahmaiva | evaṃ yatra prakṣipyate'gnau so'pi brahmaiva | brahmāgnāviti samastaṃ padam | tathā yena kartrā yajamānenādhvaryuṇā ca tyajyate prakṣipyate ca tadubhayamapi kartṛkārakaṃ kartari vihitayā tṛtīyayānūdya brahmeti nidhīyae brahmaṇeti | evaṃ hutamiti havanaṃ
tyāgakriyā prakṣepakriyā ca tadapi brahmaiva | tathā yena havanena yadgantavyaṃ svargādi vyavahitaṃ karma tadapi brahmaiva | atratya evakāraḥ sarvatra sambadhyate | hutamityatrāpīta eva brahmetyanuṣajyate | vyavadhānābhāvātsākāṅkṣatvācca citpatistvā punātu ityādāvacchidreṇetyādiparavākyaśeṣavat |

anena rūpeṇa karmaṇi samādhirbrahmajñānaṃ yasya sa karmasamādhistena brahmavidā karmānuṣṭhātrāpi brahma paramānandādvayaṃ gantavyamityanuṣajyate | sākāṅkṣatvādavyavadhānācca te agne rajāśayetyādau tanūrvarṣiṣṭheyādipūrvavākyaśeṣavat |

athavārpyate'smai phalāyeti vyutpattyārpaṇapadenaiva svargādiphalamapi grāhyam | tathā ca brahmaiva tena gantavyaṃ brahmakarmasamādhinā ityuttarārdhaṃ jñānaphalakathanāyaiveti samañjasam | asmin pakṣe brahmakarmasamādhinetyekaṃ padam | pūrvaṃ brahmapadaṃ hutamityanena sambadhyate caramaṃ gantavyapadeneti bhinnaṃ padam | evaṃ ca nānuṣaṅgadvayakleśa iti draṣṭavyam | brahma gantavyamityabhedenaiva tatprāptirupacārāt | ataeva na svargādi tucchaphalaṃ tena gantavyaṃ vidyayāvidyakakārakavyavahārocchedāt | taduktaṃ vārtikakṛdbhiḥ

kārakavyavahāre hi śuddhaṃ vastu na vīkṣyate |
śuddhe vastuni siddhe ca kārakavyāvṛttiḥ kutaḥ || iti |

arpaṇādikārakasvarupānupamardenaiva tatra nāmādāviva brahmadṛṣṭiḥ kṣipyate sampanmātreṇa phalaviśeṣāyeti keṣāṃcidvyākhyānaṃ bhāṣyakṛdbhireva nirākṛtamupakramādivirodhādbrahmavidyākaraṇe sampanmātrasyāprasaktatvādityādi yuktibhiḥ ||24||

evaṃ viviktajīvātmānusandhigarbhatayā svavihitasya karmaṇo jñānākāratāmabhidhāya sāṅgasya tasya parātmarūpatānusandhinā tadākāratāmāha brahmārpaṇamiti | arpyate'nenātmaiveti vyutpatterarpaṇaṃ sruvaṃ mantrādhidaivataṃ cendrādi tattacca brahmaiva | arpyamāṇaṃ haviścājyādi tadapi brahmaiva | tacca havirhomādhāre'gnau brahmaṇi yajamānenādhvaryuṇā ca brahmaṇā hutaṃ tyaktaṃ prakṣiptaṃ ca | agniryajamāno'dhvaryuśca brahmaivetyarthaḥ | brahmāgnāvityatra ṇikāralopaśchāndasaḥ | na ca samastaṃ padamiti vācyam | agnau brahmadṛṣṭervidheyatvāditthaṃ ca brahmarūpe sāṅge karmaṇi samādhiścittaikāgryaṃ yasya tena mumukṣuṇā
