The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.67.82

एवं यदेव मनः कल्पयति तदेव पश्यति ।
सद्वा भवत्वसद्वा चित्तं यत्कल्पयत्यभिनेविष्टम् ।
तत्तत्पश्यति यास्यति सदिव प्रतिभासमुपगतं सद्यः ॥ ८२ ॥

evaṃ yadeva manaḥ kalpayati tadeva paśyati |
sadvā bhavatvasadvā cittaṃ yatkalpayatyabhineviṣṭam |
tattatpaśyati yāsyati sadiva pratibhāsamupagataṃ sadyaḥ || 82 ||

Thus the mind being realised from Brahma, sees before it whatever it imagines; and whatever the intellect thinks upon, whether it is a reality or unreality, the same comes to take place. The reflection verily passes into reality.
