लवणेक्षु सुराक्षीरदधिसर्पि स्तथोदकम् ।
सर्पिर्दधि पयस्त्वव्यत्ततश्शुद्धोदकं परम् ।
पयांस्त्यव्यत् पयस्त्वस्वक् पश्चिमश्च शुभोदकः इतिच ।
द्वीपसमुद्रपरिमाणम् ।
भूभागे मध्यमे जुम्भूद्वीपमानं च कथ्यते ॥ 9 ॥

lavaṇekṣu surākṣīradadhisarpi stathodakam |
sarpirdadhi payastvavyattataśśuddhodakaṃ param |
payāṃstyavyat payastvasvak paścimaśca śubhodakaḥ itica |
dvīpasamudraparimāṇam |
bhūbhāge madhyame jumbhūdvīpamānaṃ ca kathyate || 9 ||
