The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.131.48

यथाहमेवं स्मयदेहिकेयं सर्वं तथैवाङ्ग न चित्रमेतत् ।
अन्यैः स्वभावो विदितो न शुद्धो यदा न पश्यन्ति तदेत्थमङ्ग ॥ ४८ ॥

yathāhamevaṃ smayadehikeyaṃ sarvaṃ tathaivāṅga na citrametat |
anyaiḥ svabhāvo vidito na śuddho yadā na paśyanti tadetthamaṅga || 48 ||

She added and said:—O sir, as you see me so wondrous in my form, so must you know all things in the world to be of the same kind; but people who view them in their natural form find them otherwise, unless they look into them in their spiritual light, when the gross forms vanish into nothing.
