The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.12.32

बीजं जगत्सु ननु पञ्चकमात्रमेव बीजं पराव्यवहितस्थितिशक्तिराद्या ।
बीजं तदेव भवतीति सदानुभूतं चिन्मात्रमेवमजमाद्यमतो जगच्छीः ॥ ३२ ॥

bījaṃ jagatsu nanu pañcakamātrameva bījaṃ parāvyavahitasthitiśaktirādyā |
bījaṃ tadeva bhavatīti sadānubhūtaṃ cinmātramevamajamādyamato jagacchīḥ || 32 ||

These five-fold elements are verily the only seeds of all things in the world. They are the seeds of the primary momentum that was given to them (in the beginning). In our notions, they are the seeds of elementary bodies, but in their real nature, they are the increate ideal shapes of the Intellect replenishing the world.
