The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवं द्रष्टापि यः स्वप्नजालं दृष्टे न किंचन ।
कोऽत्र द्रष्टा कुतो दृश्यं क्व द्वैतं क्व च कारणम् ॥ २३ ॥

evaṃ draṣṭāpi yaḥ svapnajālaṃ dṛṣṭe na kiṃcana |
ko'tra draṣṭā kuto dṛśyaṃ kva dvaitaṃ kva ca kāraṇam || 23 ||

Thus the viewer who views the world, in the light of Brahma, finds this view of it, as a vision in this dream;and comes to know that there is no real viewer to view of it, nor any cause thereof nor any duality whatsoever.
