The Sanskrit text of the Dhanurveda-samhita attributed to Vasishtha. Dhanur Veda is a type of ancient India science whose roots date to the 2nd millenium BCE. It is counted among the Upavedas literature. This specific version of the Dhanurveda contains roughly 240 sections of Sanskrit text.

अथ विधिरूपवासः ।
शुभ्रायाः परपुङ्खाया जटनीली जटाथवा ।
भुजे शिरसि वक्त्रे वा स्थिता शस्त्रनिवारिका ।
भूपाहिचोरभीतिघ्नी गृहीता पुष्यभास्करे ॥ १२ ॥

bhuje śirasi vaktre vā sthitā śastranivārikā |

Then the dress in the form of a ritual. The white, other-winged, matted hair or blue matted hair. A weapon preventer is placed on the arm, head or face. The sun-god, who destroys the fear of kings, snakes and thieves, was captured in the month of Pushya.
