The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एष चित्तमयो देहो जगन्त्यन्तर्बहिस्त्वपि ।
प्रतिबिम्बमिवादर्शः शून्य एव नभो यथा ॥ १४ ॥

eṣa cittamayo deho jagantyantarbahistvapi |
pratibimbamivādarśaḥ śūnya eva nabho yathā || 14 ||

This intellectual body beholds the world, both inside and outside of it; as the looking glass reflects and refracts, the outward and its inward images both in as well as out of it; and as the open air reflects and shows us the upper skies.
