This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.22

बलेनुपेतं सुरसंप्रणीतं गन्धेन च उपनये भोजनं च ।
एवं च च्छन्दं जने वेगजाता बुद्धो भवे कवचितो लक्षणेहि ॥ २२ ॥

balenupetaṃ surasaṃpraṇītaṃ gandhena ca upanaye bhojanaṃ ca |
evaṃ ca cchandaṃ jane vegajātā buddho bhave kavacito lakṣaṇehi || 22 ||

She tendered him strength-giving food that was exquisitely flavoured and fragrant of smell. Then greatly stirred she formed a resolution saying, “May I become a Buddha accoutred with the (thirty-two) marks. (22)
