muktapuṣpāvakīrṇāhi saparivārāṃ ārūpitvā gaṃgāye pratiśrotena taṃ sāhaṃjaniṃ āśramapadaṃ gato // tena dāni tasya āśramapadasya samīpe nāvāni sthāpetvā nalinī rājakanyā ekaśṛṃgasya ṛṣikumārasya sakāśaṃ visarjitā gaccha tvaṃ ṛṣikumāram ānehi // dāni nalinī rājakumārī nāvāto oruhitvā saparivārā tatrāśramapade nānāprakārāṇi vanakusumāni ca vanakisalayāni ca pralāventī āsati / tāṃ pi ca dṛṣṭvā tato āśramāto mṛgapakṣigaṇā svakasvakāni rutāni muṃcantāni diśodiśaṃ pradhāvanti // ṛṣikumāro pi tāni mṛgapakṣigaṇāni santrasantāni dṛṣṭvā taṃ pradeśaṃ gataḥ / tato tāṃ paśyati nalinīṃ rājakumārīṃ saparivārāṃ vanakusumāni ca vaanakisalāni ca pralāventīṃ // dṛṣṭvā ca punar yena nalinī rājakumārī tenopasaṃkrānto // nalinīye ṛṣikumāro bhūyo abhinandito kaṇṭhe ca lagnā bhūyo ca āliṃgito cuṃbito ca modakāni ca khajjakaprakārāṇi ca paribhuṃjitvā rājārhāṇi ca pānakāni pibitvā nalinīye sārdhaṃ tān nāvāṃ ārūḍho // nalinī āha // ime asmākaṃ āśrame udake saṃcaranti // so tāye pralobhetvā nāvāyānena vārāṇasīm ānīto / purohitena ṛṣikumārasya nalinī pāṇigrahaṃ kṛtvā dinnā // so tāye nalinīye sārdhaṃ āsati krīḍati na pana saṃyogaṃ gacchati / jānāti vayasyo me ṛṣikumāro ti //
