The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
न विधेर्न निषेधस्य त्वत्प्रसादादयं प्रभुः ।
तथापि तव वाक्यं तु करणीयं हि सर्वदा ॥ १०२ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
na vidherna niṣedhasya tvatprasādādayaṃ prabhuḥ |
tathāpi tava vākyaṃ tu karaṇīyaṃ hi sarvadā || 102 ||

Rama said:—By your kindness sir, I am taught to have no concern with aught of the injunctions or prohibitions of the law; yet it is my duty to abide by all, what my preceptor bids me to do.
