The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
ससंभ्रमं वदत्येवं पुरुषे परुषारवः ।
उदभूत्पूरयन्नाशा बहिः कोलाहलो महान् ॥ १० ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
sasaṃbhramaṃ vadatyevaṃ puruṣe paruṣāravaḥ |
udabhūtpūrayannāśā bahiḥ kolāhalo mahān || 10 ||

Vasishtha said:—As the royal marshal was delivering with trepidation this unpleasant intelligence, there arose a loud cry without, filling the sky with its uproar.
