मधुमत्ता नृपेश्वर
गन्धाक्तः शीतलो वायुर्
मन्द-गामी वहत्य् अलम्
सहस्र-दल-पद्मानां
रजो वीक्षेपयन् मुहुः
पुंस्-कोकिलाः कोकिलाश् च
मयूराः सरसाः शुकाः
कूजन्ते मधुरं नादं
निकुञ्ज-शिखरेषु च
पुष्प-शय्या-सहस्राणि
जल-कुल्याः सहस्रशः

patanti yatra bhramarā
madhumattā nṛpeśvara
gandhāktaḥ śītalo vāyur
manda-gāmī vahaty alam
sahasra-dala-padmānāṃ
rajo vīkṣepayan muhuḥ
puṃs-kokilāḥ kokilāś ca
mayūrāḥ sarasāḥ śukāḥ
kūjante madhuraṃ nādaṃ
nikuñja-śikhareṣu ca
puṣpa-śayyā-sahasrāṇi
jala-kulyāḥ sahasraśaḥ
