The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 1.58

धन्यो ऽस्म्यनुग्राह्यमिदं कुलं मे यन्मां दिदृक्षुर्भगवानुपेतः ।
आज्ञाप्यतां किं करवाणि सौम्य शिष्यो ऽस्मि विश्रम्भितुमर्हसीति ॥ ५८ ॥

dhanyo 'smyanugrāhyamidaṃ kulaṃ me yanmāṃ didṛkṣurbhagavānupetaḥ |
ājñāpyatāṃ kiṃ karavāṇi saumya śiṣyo 'smi viśrambhitumarhasīti || 58 ||

'I am indeed fortunate, this my family is the object of high favour, that thou shouldst have come to visit me; be pleased to command what I should do, O benign one; I am thy disciple, be pleased to show thy confidence in me.'
