The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.190.9

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
बाह्यार्थभ्रान्तितो ज्ञेया भ्रमबुद्धिरिहोदिता ।
बाह्यश्चाभ्यन्तरश्चार्थो न संभवति कश्चन ॥ ९ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
bāhyārthabhrāntito jñeyā bhramabuddhirihoditā |
bāhyaścābhyantaraścārtho na saṃbhavati kaścana || 9 ||

Vasishtha replied:—The error of the reality of external objects, gives rise to the error of the reality to our knowledge of them also; but there is no inward object of thought, nor of the outward senses, has ever any reality in it.
