The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
योऽयं प्रत्यक्षदृश्योऽर्थो मुने त्वमहमादिकः ।
भूतादिरनुभूतात्मा स कथं नास्ति मे वद ॥ १० ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
yo'yaṃ pratyakṣadṛśyo'rtho mune tvamahamādikaḥ |
bhūtādiranubhūtātmā sa kathaṃ nāsti me vada || 10 ||

Rama rejoined:—Tell me, O sage, how can you deny the existence of those objects, which are evident to the senses of mine, thine and all others alike; and which are ever present in their thoughts in the minds of sensible beings.
