The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

लोकान्तराद्रिपुरवारिधिकाननान्तमुत्पातकल्पपवनेन मिथो हतानाम् ।
कोलाहलैर्जगदभूत्प्रविकीर्णशीर्णं पूर्णार्णवे त्रिपुरपूर इवाभिपाती ॥ ५६ ॥

lokāntarādripuravāridhikānanāntamutpātakalpapavanena mitho hatānām |
kolāhalairjagadabhūtpravikīrṇaśīrṇaṃ pūrṇārṇave tripurapūra ivābhipātī || 56 ||

The ominous tornadoes at the end of the kalpa period, overthrew the mountains and cities and forests, and overwhelmed the earth and all in a general ruin and confusion.
