The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भूमेरन्वभवन्भूरिदोलान्दोलनमद्रयः ।
भूकम्पलोलकैलासमेरुमन्दरकन्दराः ।
पेतुः कल्पतरून्मुक्ता रक्तस्तबकवृष्टयः ॥ ५५ ॥

bhūmeranvabhavanbhūridolāndolanamadrayaḥ |
bhūkampalolakailāsamerumandarakandarāḥ |
petuḥ kalpatarūnmuktā raktastabakavṛṣṭayaḥ || 55 ||

The mountains standing on the surface of the earth, were shaking and tottering on all sides; and a great earthquake shook the mountains of Kailasa and Meru, to their very bottom and caverns and forests.
