The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एष एव विशेषोऽस्य न समो मूढबुद्धिभिः ।
सर्वत्रास्थापरित्यागान्नीरागममलं मनः ।
भवेत्तस्य महाबुद्धेर्नासौ वस्तुषु मज्जति ॥ ५ ॥

eṣa eva viśeṣo'sya na samo mūḍhabuddhibhiḥ |
sarvatrāsthāparityāgānnīrāgamamalaṃ manaḥ |
bhavettasya mahābuddhernāsau vastuṣu majjati || 5 ||

There is this difference of these knowing seers, from the bulk of idle practitioners in yoga, that they are content with their dispassionate mind, without placing any reliance in practice.
