The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अणिमाद्यपि संप्राप्तं तादृशैरेव भूरिशः ।
यत्नेन साधितत्वात्तैर्नेतरेणात्मदर्शिना ॥ ४ ॥

aṇimādyapi saṃprāptaṃ tādṛśaireva bhūriśaḥ |
yatnena sādhitatvāttairnetareṇātmadarśinā || 4 ||

So the powers of self-expansion and contraction &c., have been acquired by others by their constant practice of the same, (anima, laghima and the like), which are disregarded by other seers in spiritual knowledge.
