The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.24.13

राजा तु तत्र भगवानात्मा सर्वपदातिगः ।
तेन मन्त्री कृतः प्राज्ञो मनो नाम महामते ॥ १३ ॥

rājā tu tatra bhagavānātmā sarvapadātigaḥ |
tena mantrī kṛtaḥ prājño mano nāma mahāmate || 13 ||

The king of that place is the soul of divine essence, which transcends all other substances; and it is the mind which is appointed by that soul as its wise minister.
