The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रृणु कः पुत्र देशोऽसौ सर्वं प्रकटयामि ते ।
देशनाम्ना मयोक्तस्ते मोक्षः सकलदुःखहा ॥ १२ ॥

śrṛṇu kaḥ putra deśo'sau sarvaṃ prakaṭayāmi te |
deśanāmnā mayoktaste mokṣaḥ sakaladuḥkhahā || 12 ||

Now hear me, explain to you, my son, what that place is which I called a country. It is the seat of liberation (moksha), and where there is an end of all our pains.
