अहिंसा परमो धर्मो मनुना कथ्यते यतः ।
किं करोमि क्व गच्छामि कथं शुध्येय चाप्यहम् ॥ ३१ ॥

kṛtaṃ ghoraṃ mahatpāpaṃ hatā yaddānavā mayā |
ahiṃsā paramo dharmo manunā kathyate yataḥ |
kiṃ karomi kva gacchāmi kathaṃ śudhyeya cāpyaham || 31 ||
