The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
कियन्नाम भवेद्वह्मन्न चेत्योन्मुखता चितेः ।
चित्तस्याचित्ततोदेति कथं निर्वाणकारिणी ॥ ६८ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
kiyannāma bhavedvahmanna cetyonmukhatā citeḥ |
cittasyācittatodeti kathaṃ nirvāṇakāriṇī || 68 ||

Rama rejoined:—Tell me sir, how long continues this tendency of the intellect towards the thinkables, and when does the mind come to have its unmindfulness, which causes our coma or anaesthesia of Nirvana.
