The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथाल्पेनैव कालेन मुनिर्निर्वाणमाययौ ।
देहं त्यक्त्वाऽपदेशान्ते परे परिणतिं गतः ॥ ४ ॥

athālpenaiva kālena munirnirvāṇamāyayau |
dehaṃ tyaktvā'padeśānte pare pariṇatiṃ gataḥ || 4 ||

After some time the muni met with his final extinction said:—nirvana, and by casting off his mortal body, obtained his last repose in the state of transcendent tranquillity.
