Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.144.26

तस्माद्यत्र चिदाकाशमनन्तं सततं स्थितम् ।
तत्रास्तीति जगद्भानं तदङ्गानन्यरूपि यत् ॥ २६ ॥

tasmādyatra cidākāśamanantaṃ satataṃ sthitam |
tatrāstīti jagadbhānaṃ tadaṅgānanyarūpi yat || 26 ||

Hence as far as the vacuity of the Intellect extends to all infinity, there is the appearance of the wide world connected with it, as immanent in and identic with itself at all times.
