The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.96.25

बलं बुद्धिश्च तेजश्च देहोऽहमिति भावनात् ।
नश्यत्युदेत्येतदेव चिदेवाहमिति स्थितेः ॥ २५ ॥

balaṃ buddhiśca tejaśca deho'hamiti bhāvanāt |
naśyatyudetyetadeva cidevāhamiti sthiteḥ || 25 ||

The belief that I am the body, its strength and its perceptions, falsifies my faith in these and destroys my reliance in the spirit; but my trust in the spirit, confirms my faith in that by removing my belief in these.
