The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वयमेष मनस्तेन मनो नास्योपयुज्यते ।
आत्मैव भोक्तृतामेति किल कस्य कथं कुतः ॥ १८ ॥

svayameṣa manastena mano nāsyopayujyate |
ātmaiva bhoktṛtāmeti kila kasya kathaṃ kutaḥ || 18 ||

He is the universal Mind itself, has no individual mind of his own; and he being the sole enjoyer of all things, there is nothing in particular that forms the object of his enjoyment.
