The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.73.16

चिद्भावशून्य एवातिनिराकारोऽप्यणुं तनुम् ।
पश्यन्दृश्यमिवोदेति द्रष्टेव च तदा द्विताम् ॥ १६ ॥

cidbhāvaśūnya evātinirākāro'pyaṇuṃ tanum |
paśyandṛśyamivodeti draṣṭeva ca tadā dvitām || 16 ||

The intellect is of the nature of vacuum, and therefore formless in itself; and yet it beholds the minute ideas to rise as visibles before it, and thereby the subjective viewer becomes the duality of the objective view also.
