The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
कः करोति शरीराणि मनोबुद्ध्यादिचेतनैः ।
को मोहयति भूतानि स्नेहरागादिबन्धनैः ॥ ५ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
kaḥ karoti śarīrāṇi manobuddhyādicetanaiḥ |
ko mohayati bhūtāni sneharāgādibandhanaiḥ || 5 ||

Rama asked said:—Who then is it that forms these bodies, together with their minds, understandings and senses; and who is it that deludes all beings into the snares of passions and affections, and into the net of ignorance.
