The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. किं नाम जीव इत्युक्तं येनेहान्धीकृतं जगत् ।
चित्तं चैवासदेव त्वं विद्धि का तस्य शक्तता ॥ १३ ॥

kiṃ nāma jīva ityuktaṃ yenehāndhīkṛtaṃ jagat |
cittaṃ caivāsadeva tvaṃ viddhi kā tasya śaktatā || 13 ||

What is it that they call the living soul, and which has blindfolded the world; and what they term as the mind, is really an unreality and without any power of its own.
