The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्रुमो भूमौ स्वबीजत्वमिवोदेत्यनुदेत्यपि ।
परं तत्त्वं जगद्भक्त्या जगत्तां स्वोदयेन च ॥ १०२ ॥

drumo bhūmau svabījatvamivodetyanudetyapi |
paraṃ tattvaṃ jagadbhaktyā jagattāṃ svodayena ca || 102 ||

As a tree springs from the ground according to its seed, so the world appears to sight in the form, as it is contained in the seed of the intellect.
