The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवंरूपात्कुलाज्जातो राजास्माकमयं त्वसौ ।
कचिता इव वास्तव्यविदो वैदूरथे पुरे ॥ ४९ ॥

evaṃrūpātkulājjāto rājāsmākamayaṃ tvasau |
kacitā iva vāstavyavido vaidūrathe pure || 49 ||

In this way the thought that the king was born of such and such a family, naturally introduced the thoughts of his palace and city, and of those that dwelt in them.
