The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्राणेभ्योऽपि प्रियो भर्ता ममैष जगतीपतिः ।
यौवनोल्लासवान्श्रीमान्कथं स्यादजरामरः ॥ १९ ॥

prāṇebhyo'pi priyo bhartā mamaiṣa jagatīpatiḥ |
yauvanollāsavānśrīmānkathaṃ syādajarāmaraḥ || 19 ||

"How will this my lord and ruler of earth, who is in the bloom of youth and prosperity, and who is dearer to me than my life, be free from old age and death.
