The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आदावेव हि नोत्पन्नं यत्तस्येहास्तिता कुतः ।
कुतो मरौ जलसरिद्द्वितीयेन्दौ कुतो ग्रहः ॥ ४२ ॥

ādāveva hi notpannaṃ yattasyehāstitā kutaḥ |
kuto marau jalasariddvitīyendau kuto grahaḥ || 42 ||
