ते वराश्वरथव्रातैर्वारणैः सपदातिभिः ।
तमेकं छादयामासुर्मेघा इव दिवाकरम् ।
भीष्मं भागीरथीपुत्रं प्रतपन्तं रणे रिपून् ॥ ४८ ॥
