The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 1.66

धात्र्यङ्कसंविष्टमवेक्ष्य चैनं देव्यङ्कसंविष्टमिवाग्निसूनुम् ।
बभूव पक्ष्मान्तरिवाञ्चिताश्रुर्निश्वस्य चैवं त्रिदिवोन्मुखो ऽभूत् ॥ ६६ ॥

dhātryaṅkasaṃviṣṭamavekṣya cainaṃ devyaṅkasaṃviṣṭamivāgnisūnum |
babhūva pakṣmāntarivāñcitāśrurniśvasya caivaṃ tridivonmukho 'bhūt || 66 ||

Having beheld him seated on his nurse's side, like the son of Agni (Skanda) seated on Devi's side, he stood with the tears hanging on the ends of his eyelashes, and sighing he looked up towards heaven.
